Fishers Health Department offers Aging Well programs designed to help older adults stay healthy, informed and connected. Topics range from nutrition and fall prevention to medication safety, mental wellness and healthy aging.

Stepping On Fall Prevention Program

The next Stepping On program begins September 16 at the Fishers Community Center. This 7-week program helps older adults improve strength and balance and identify fall risks at home. Space is limited. Email FHD for info.

Aging Well Educational Series

The Fishers Health Department’s new Aging Well series offers a collection of free, in-person educational sessions designed to help older adults, and those who care for them, live healthy, active, and connected lives.

From brain health to fall prevention and cybersecurity, each session features practical information, expert presenters, and local partnerships to support lifelong wellness.

Fall Prevention Program

Residents with mobility challenges can apply for free home visits, fall-prevention education, assistance with in-home safety modifications, and referrals to community partners through the Fishers Health Department and Fishers Fire Department.
