HPV Vaccine: Cancer Prevention Starts Early
The HPV vaccine helps prevent six types of cancer. It works best when given early, before exposure to the virus.
The American Cancer Society recommends HPV vaccination for all children ages 9 through 12. Children who begin the series on time typically need two doses given six to 12 months apart.
WHY VACCINATE EARLY?
Provides protection before exposure
Produces a stronger immune response at younger ages
