Aging Well: Taming Stress in Everyday Life
March 12 @ 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm
Free
In this session, we’ll take a look at stress—what it is, how it affects you, and what you can do to feel more in control. You’ll have the chance to talk about the signs of stress you’ve noticed in your own life and explore different ways of coping, from quick emotional resets to practical problem-solving approaches. We’ll also chat about when it might be a good idea to reach out for extra support and where you can find it in your community.
Before the end of our time together, we’ll explore options for building our stress coping toolbox, including practicing some guided meditation. Register at https://bit.ly/4jEvusV.
The Fishers Health Department’s Aging Well series offers free educational sessions designed to help older adults and their caregivers live healthy, active, and connected lives. See additional Aging Well events at Health.FishersIN.gov/AgingWell.
