Mental Health Resources for Businesses

To ensure a healthy community, we must ensure a healthy workforce and provide support for businesses in our community. The following resources and programs are available to area businesses to support mental health.

Fishers Health Department Social Work Team

The Fishers Health Department’s (FHD) Social Work program, started in April 2023, aims to improve residents’ health and quality of life by addressing social factors that affect health. The program is staffed by a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and two Community Health Advocates who offer support and guidance to community members, helping them access resources and improve their well-being through direct assistance, resource connections, and referrals to partner organizations.

The social work team works with various agencies to ensure everyone has equal opportunities and to enhance the community’s quality of life. They collaborate closely with public safety efforts for the City of Fishers, working with both the Fishers Fire Department and Fishers Police Department through the mobile integrated health program, “We Care – We Connect.” This team provides preventive and social care services, especially for those with mental health and substance use needs. They also lead the Fishers Fall Prevention Program and assist with supporting residents who experience emergency behavioral health needs.

The social work team also manages a list of local community resources. If you or a loved one is in need of resource assistance, check out our list here.
