International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day 2025

International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day is an event in which survivors of suicide loss come together to find connection, understanding, and hope through their shared experience. This year, International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day is Saturday, November 22, 2025.

The Fishers Health Department is hosting one of 17 of these events in the state of Indiana.

After a few speakers, please take part in our Mosaic Memorial. Mosaic Memorial is an art-based, community initiative designed to raise awareness about suicide and honor loved ones who have died this way.  Participants will create hand-folded origami boxes, which they can decorate to commemorate those who have taken their life.  Each box will become a personal tribute, collectively representing those who have lost their lives to suicide in a visually powerful way. Participants will be encouraged to make two Mosaic Memorial boxes, one to leave and add to the community art project and one to take with them in memory of their loved one.
