WHY ADULT MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID? Adult Mental Health First Aid teaches people how to recognize signs of mental health or substance use challenges in adults ages 18 and older, how to offer and provide initial help, and how to guide a person toward appropriate care if necessary.
WHO SHOULD KNOW MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID?
Fishers Health Department will be hosting a certification training, with a in-person format. This format includes an 8 hour in-person session (with breaks). Participants must be able to be present for the entire duration of the training.
The cost of the training is $58.90 (which includes $28.90 for materials and $30 educator fee). Course fees for this training date are waived for First Responders in Hamilton County.
